When your blood glucose level is entered in an insulin calculation you can move on to the next step.
This is where you will add your carbohydrate intake or the food and drinks you have consumed. To get to this step, tap the food icon at the bottom of the screen.
In this step you can register how many carbs you consumed. Like with the blood glucose level this can be done either using the slider or manually by pressing under "Enter manually" and then entering the value using the keyboard.
Another option is to obtain food items from HDA's food Library. HDA has a Food Library which contains around 3300 food items, from McCance and Widdowson's 'Composition of foods integrated dataset' by Public Health England.
To access the Food Library press “Add from Food library” button.
