The first step to adding an activity to you insulin calculation is to enter the duration of your activity.
This can either be done by using the slider or manually by pressing the number under “Enter manually” and then enter using the keyboard.
The type of activity is then selected. Here you can choose between run, walk, cycling, swim and other. Please note that when setting up HDA the 'default' physical activity settings will be applied. Before creating the first insulin calculation healthcare professionals must verify these settings are accurate & make changes if required.

Next, you must enter when the activity is started and are then presented the option to give the activity a title. Based on the duration, intensity and whether the user is planning to or is finished with activity, the recommended insulin will be lowered by a certain percentage.
