To edit your insulin calculator settings, open Hedia Diabetes Assistant, click 'More' on the bottom right hand side of the dashboard and then select 'Settings for Insulin Calculator'.
Under 'General diabetes treatment' it is possible to see and edit the information you have provided HDA regarding your diabetes treatment.
Under “Insulin settings” you can set your insulin sensitivity factor and insulin-to-carb ratio. To do so press “Insulin settings”. If you need help to calculate your insulin settings, press either "Help with the 100 rule" or "help with the 500-rule". These rules are explained under the 'Help with Calculations' articles in the help centre.
You can adjust your insulin sensitivity factor and insulin-to-carb ratio in two ways.
First, you can use 'overall insulin'. This means that it will be the same throughout the day.
Second, you can use daily intervals where you have different values throughout the day, which can give a more personal recommendation.
In overall insulin the values can be edited.
In the daily intervals you can edit the values as well as time intervals.
