With Hedia, you can add your activities to your insulin calculations, and let Hedia's algorithm account for this in your insulin recommendations. Adding your daily activities to your insulin calculation will provide you with the best possible recommendation, as your daily activities have an effect on how much insulin you need.
When it comes to exercise and diabetes we need to be cautious with the steps we take. Therefore, the limit of 60 minutes of activity is based on medical evidence. Because Hedia is a medical device, we must follow medical guidelines that ensure your safety while using our app.
In case you have exercised for 1h 30min, you will then need to add this activity by splitting it up. You would enter your BG and carbs accordingly and start out by adding 60min of activity to your calculation and then add this to your logbook. Afterward, you open up a new calculation window and go directly to the activity tab and enter the remaining 30 min of activity and add this to your logbook.
