With more than 1500 food items in Hedia's food database, there’s much to choose from. If you want to easily find the food items you have more regularly, when you make your calculations in Hedia, you can save them as your favourites.
That way, the next time you need a recommendation of insulin, your favourite food and drink will show up under Quick Add in your calculation.
Add favorite food with the following steps:
- Click on 'Check Food', and click on the search bar at the top of your screen
- Type in the food item you want to find
- Click on the button with the star
- Select the times of day you want this item as a favourite (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Night)
- Select your desired food item and enter the amount of the food you are going to eat
- Select the amount of grams
- Click 'ADD' (a little star shows up)
- Select 'ADD TO FAVOURITES'
From now on your favorite food items will show up under Quick Add in your insulin calculation at your chosen time of day. This is a great way to make your insulin calculation even faster.
