Average Blood Glucose

In the dashboard, next to active insulin it is possible to see your average blood glucose level.

You will need to make at least 28 calculations in Hedia Diabetes Assistant over a maximum period of 14 days, in order for the app to calculate the average blood glucose level. This metric is useful to know because it provides a window into you have been managing your diabetes over a period of time.

Your average blood glucose is not the same as the HbA1c measurement that is measured by your doctor.
